Our first workshop was last Wednesday (9/1/2010). It's taken a week to get this blog up and running, but I will make sure it is updated more quickly from here on out in case it is necessary for you to miss any of the other group meetings.
The points that are standing out in my head as being most important from our initial meeting are as follows:
* Chase introduced himself to all of us, and gave a brief history of his journey.
* There is no right or wrong with the tones. Nobody gets called on the carpet if we don't follow the program to the letter. The "letter" is a recommendation for the highest benefit to each of us.
* Listen to the tones twice a day with covered headphones if possible. It was suggested to listen in the morning and evening. Again, no right or wrong...
* The music carries vibrations all the way through you. Chords held longer will help heal you on both a cellular level and physical level.
* Most people won't know what is being healed.
* If you cry for unexplained reasons, you are healing. On the flip side, if you know why you are crying, your ego is at work.
* Crying is a healing component and is a release. Cry if it comes up. Don't hold it in. Let it out. Find a place to let it out.
* During the group, there will be sharing. You are not REQUIRED to share. Sharing will help us in healing. What's shared during the group discussion of our experiences will NOT be posted on the blog. The group is a safe place. Please keep the experiences of others in the group.
* We begin our journey as spiritual beings. As we grow in our human forms, we are "more humanized". We are taught to be humans rather than spiritual beings. With the tones, we're working on becoming more spiritual beings and healing the wounds inflicted with our human journey.
* Typical class will be as follows: Sharing (voluntary only!), Education, Channeling from Chase as time permits. Please be on time. If you must be late, please enter quietly.
* Tones may alter your senses a little. You may sleep better. You may eat better. You may feel a little "elated". Do not operate heavy equipment... "they can make you loopy".
* Make your mind free of worry as you listen to the tones.
* Set an intention for each week for the tones. Chase handed out a worksheet to help us with setting our intentions. No shame. No guilt. If you can't do it all, it's alright. Try to set an intention: "Thank you for allowing me to become more aware of my feelings"... or whatever you need to work on for that week.
* Journaling is suggested. You may notice changes in thoughts, feelings, concepts and possibly your family!
More to come after tonights group.
